Publication fees
Page charges
The publication of an article in the Netherlands Journal of Geosciences incurs a charge of EUR 140 per page. VAT will be added to customers within Sweden and the European Union, except non-Swedish organizations that provide their VAT-number.
The total sum will be charged to the author(s) upon acceptance of his/her article. It is the publication year that governs the publication fee, not the submission year.
Waiver policy
If you do not have access to funding to satisfy the publication fee, you can get in touch with the Editor-in-Chief (michiel.vandermeulen@tno.nl) for a potential waiver. Note that if the author group includes researchers from universities or institutes in high-income economies, the publication fee will likely not be waived.
Withdrawal of manuscript
If you withdraw your manuscript after it has undergone peer review, or after it has been typeset (but not yet published), a fee will be charged as follows:
- EUR 275 / USD 325 per article (after peer review)
- EUR 150 / USD 160 per article (after peer review and typesetting)
