Open Academia is partnering with Public Knowledge Project (PKP) to provide a complete production- and publication service that includes processing manuscripts through copyediting, typesetting, proofreading (liaising with authors), online publication, indexing and archiving. The Open Academia staff also serves as the peer review support contact for all system users: editors, section editors, authors, reviewers and readers. Basically, we offer support on all core elements of the publishing process. We are the well-oiled machinery working behind the scenes. An efficient back office working to enable academic societies to publish research with the prestige and freedom of their own institutional imprint.
All services offered by Open Academia can be contracted individually or as a custom package. We offer tailored solutions and a friendly can-do attitude. Let's get in touch!

Open Journal Systems, developed by PKP, continues to rise as a leading publishing platform for open access academic publishing. The software is tried, tested and open source - and in many ways leaps and bounds better than its high-priced counterparts often developed for subscription journals. A key advantage of OJS compared to many other systems is that it is an all-in-one system built to manage peer review, production, publication and indexing. OJS was born open access and it is constantly evolving through user-driven innovation. The Open Academia staff can provide full support for journals in all previous versions of OJS as well as the most recent version of OJS 3.
Open Academia works with a professional typesetter, Datapage, to ensure all articles and associated metadata meet the highest professional standards.
